Cahul State University “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” (USC) is a public institution that was founded on June 7, 1999, and its aim is to train and provide the southern region of the Republic of Moldova with highly qualified professionals. The University has three faculties: Faculty of Philology and History, Faculty of Law and Public Administration and the Faculty of Economy, Computer Science and Mathematics. The purpose is developing the educational domain in the southern region of the Republic of Moldova. Although it has a short history, the University “B. P. Hasdeu” has registered very good results both in the domain of scientific research and in the involvement of teaching staff in the organization of different extra curricular activities, programs and projects. The university trains professionals in the following fields: Romanian Philology, English Philology, French Philology, History, Pedagogy, Law, Public Administration, Business and Administration, Finance and Banking, Accounting.
