On 16-18 March 2016 the Inter-University Course on EU
Policy-making was finalised with the "Brussels Colloquium”.
For three days, 42 students and around 20 INOTLES staff from the nine partner universities in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Belgium and their tutors came together at the IES in Brussels to wrap up their six months international learning experience. They successfully presented the results of their group work, played a simulation game and visited EU institutions where they had the chance to meet and discuss with policy-makers involved in EU Neighbourhood Policy.
Both the students and the tutors found the Inter-University course, with both its online and face-to-face part, a very productive and enjoyable experience and a chance to develop their team-working and presentation skills, besides acquiring essential information on the functioning of the European Union. As a next step, the students will take part in the INOTLES final conference in Kiev in June, another opportunity to consolidate their network and share their views with academics and practitioners.
