In doing so the NaUKMA seeks to guarantee the intellectual and cultural independence of the state and to maintain the national identity. The National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” is the only university in the country that includes the three cycles of education which correspond to European and world standards (bachelor, master and doctorate – PhD, where the Liberal Art Principle allows the students to form their trajectory of study by their own), and where classes are held in two languages – Ukrainian and English.  Graduates of NAUKMA are continuously in demand in the labour market.
