INOTLES mid-term conference in Chisinau, Moldova 19-20 June 2015

INOTLES is organizing its mid-term conference in Chisinau on 19-20 June 2015, aimed at disseminating project results on mapping the existing provisions in teaching European Studies (ES) and pathways, as well as the development and teaching of ES core curriculum.

INOTLES staff, comprised of academic representatives from nine partner universities, will engage in an exchange of ideas and debates with the national and international stakeholders on innovating teaching and learning of European Studies, with a special focus on Moldova.

The conference will be hosted by the Faculty of International Relations, Political Science, and Journalism, Free International University (ULIM).

The conference will include a public event on the first day, welcoming invited guests from the Ministry of Education, EU delegation, and National Erasmus + office, as well as academic and societal experts from various Moldovan higher education institutions within the framework of a roundtable on “European Studies in the Republic of Moldova: State of Affairs and Trends.”

The second day will be comprised of internal project presentations, including a roundtable on sharing the experience of EU colleagues on setting up a national Center of European Studies in Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia, and group meetings for developing core ES courses, to be implemented within partner universities as of September 2015.
